Hi Eric. You're starting to get the idea with the section concept and above/below in a couple of your images, however the other drawings still need focus on these ideas. A couple of points to help you along. 1. Your hatching needs to demonstrate a bit more care, a lot of it is looking quite rushed, some of your hatching is still being used as a sort of 'surface treatment' or textures which is not the point of the hatching - it is to delineate the difference between solid and void. 2. some of your sketches are still looking like objects. Read again the definition of 'datum' - we are trying to explore the boundary between above ground and below ground - for example image 2, 6 and 7 could easily swap the above drawing and the below drawing with no consequence... 3. Don't try to interpret your words so literally - think of trying to tap into simply the essence - a way you might go about this is to first think about what emotions you might feel when you think about a particular word, once you've thought on that, imagine what you might feel like drawing (or how you might draw) when you are feeling those emotions?
I think you should have a look at other students blogs (and my comments that go with them) and try to keep drawing. You're running out of time before next class and you also need to do your sketchup tutorial and start your 3D model. Don't let this stress you however, let your inhibitions go a bit and let your creativity flow!! Remember, once you are working within the correct framework (section, above/below, abstracting, etc) there is no right or wrong! Look at it as an opportunity to express yourself! I hope this helps. Cheers, Chris :)
Also... think about how you are presenting your work on your blog. Ie, crop your images, rotate your images, etc. You're on your way to being an architect now... "How you do one thing is how you do all things!"
Hi,Chris. Thank you for your reply. I feel I must explain, the way I presented as a shit is entirely not my intention!I found I missed the due time (unfamiliar with the language) yesterday,Then I tried to upload these picture as soon as possible. Because I had no access to a laptop at that time, I had to upload it with a phone and the blogger app, which was impossible to modify the pictures, even rotate the angle. I'll restart my work and represent them shortly. Thanks again!
